Driven by a passion for community and a desire to give back, I'm your South Yarra Ward Councillor.
As your independent Councillor since 2020, I've been focused on delivering results that matter: climate action, protecting our heritage, investing in our community, and ensuring affordability. I'm also a strong advocate for local businesses and against inappropriate development.
My experience as Mayor, Strategy Director, and my background in architecture and business (including MBA and AICD qualifications) gives me the skills to get things done.
And as a parent raising my young family here, I'm deeply invested in our community's future.

The State Government wants to rezone suburban South Yarra.

Height: The State’s new Activity Center Plan will allow 4–6 stories on local streets—even in heritage areas and regardless of the width of the street.

Infrastructure: Their plan adds thousands of new neighbours but zero investment in core infrastructure like new parks, schools or drainage.

Our Annual
Community Infrastructure Grants
The Australian Government is investing up to $41.6 million to support multicultural communities with facilities to promote connection. Local NFPs can use this grant funding to construct, upgrade or extend infrastructure that demonstrates benefits to multicultural communities. This may include:

community hubs and centres

museums, libraries and art spaces
-
indoor and outdoor amenities, including food preparation areas, dining spaces, bathrooms and barbecue facilities

meeting and conference facilities
-
stages, auditoriums and spaces to encourage performing arts
-
spaces for sporting and physical activities.
My Priorities
With the State Government targeting an additional 4,014 dwellings in Stonnington every year for the next 28 years (an 83% increase), prioritising good design is crucial. We must ensure that any growth respects heritage and creates a sustainable, high-quality future for South Yarra.
